Rename Rossotrudnichestvo competition has come to an end. The agency received over 800 submissions and after careful consideration “Russian House” was declared the most popular choice.
“This name is easy and understandable,” wrote Yuri Lenshin, a glassblower from Kaliningrad and the Honoured Artist of Russia. He was the first to suggest this clear and straightforward option.
From now on, Russian House will be the unofficial name of our Agency. This decision was backed by the Public Council. It is especially fitting since our foreign offices even before the rebranding were colloquially known as Russian Houses.
The name "Rossotrudnichestvo" will still be used internally and by Russia’s public authorities.
We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who participated in our competition! Congratulations to Yuri Lenshin – keeping our promise, we invite him to our Russian House in Berlin as soon as the epidemiological situation allows.
