Olga Zabotkina, Russian language teacher at Durham University says:

- I like to acquaint Russian language students with Russian culture, music and literature. The students and I sing songs and watch cartoons during the lessons. We have many talented students with whom it is interesting to stage performances and organize creative evenings. Unfortunately, this year we are not able to get together; even university classes are online. But we found a way out - our concert is also online. […] All participants of the concert are united by a great and wonderful feeling - love for the Russian language and culture. We want to share this love with you and hope that our performances will not leave you indifferent.

The concert included performances of poetry and prose, songs and instrumental works. It was recorded with the assistance of the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
