The representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the UK donated books to the Orthodox Parish of St. Xenia of St. Petersburg in the city of Leeds.

Father Anatoly and volunteers presented books to Russian-speaking children of parishioners from Leeds, Manchester, Bradford, Hull and York.

“Our parishioners were very happy to receive Russian books. Now, when libraries and bookstores have been closed for almost a year, such gifts are truly special. Being away from Russia, our children, unfortunately, are gradually losing Russian language skills. These books will help children and their parents. This is very important for all of us!” - says parishioner and volunteer Karina Polyakova.

Rossotrudnichestvo regularly donates educational, methodological and fiction literature to Russian schools and public associations based in Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
