A concert of multi-instrumentalist Yuri Dmitrievich Verevkin took place at the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in London on musician’s 65th birthday.
Yuri Verevkin plays piano, accordion and guitar. He performed Russian and Gypsy lyrical songs, instrumental compositions of foreign authors, as well as songs from films for the guests of the evening. Guests and colleagues of the hero of the day congratulated him with musical and literary performances.
Yuri Dmitrievich Verevkin was born in Sochi. He graduated from preparatory division of the Gorky State Conservatory named after M.I. Glinka ahead of time and quickly became a full-fledged student of the vocal department. He served in the army as a soloist of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Order of Lenin in the Moscow District and taught Spanish jazz guitar and jazz piano at the Russian-British Academy Musica Nova. He is a laureate of several international festivals and has performed at leading concert venues.
