An English Translation of Natalia Kulishenko's book “An English Queen and Stalingrad” was presented in London and Coventry. It is reported by "Rossiyskaya Gazeta".

The book is Russia's first biography of Queen Mother Elizabeth (1900-2002). In addition to little-known facts from the life of the Queen Mother, the book focuses on the Battle of Stalingrad and the role of Elizabeth in helping the heroic city of Stalingrad (now Volgograd) by the British side. In 2000, the Queen Mother was awarded the title of Honorary Citizen of Volgograd with the wording “for special merits in organizing assistance to Stalingrad by the inhabitants of Great Britain during World War II and the development of friendly relations with Russia”.
