Despite the ongoing quarantine Great Britain widely celebrated the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory. A memorial ceremony was held at the Soviet War Memorial in London, the Immortal Regiment was held online, a large Russian-British holiday online concert was played, and hundreds more events were organized in honor of a significant date. The kids only touched the military theme a little. They on the screen of their computers “led” the soldier through the maze to the headquarters, performing various tasks along the way.At the end of the lesson, the guys did exercises and watched a cartoon about the Victory Day parade. The eldest was given homework as an account of the texts on the blockade of Leningrad and the death of the ski battalion in the battle for Moscow. The London School of Russian Language and Literature prepared a video congratulation on Victory Day, where the Kadril school vocal ensemble performed the famous Katyusha under the guidance of a great singer and experienced teacher Maria Veretenina.

The Russian school "Friendship" conducted the project "From Erith to the East, young people's experience of World War Two" ("From Erita [district of London] to the east, young people in World War II"). Pupils of the school collected the memories of the children of World War II - the stories of grandfathers and grandmothers from Great Britain, Russia and Ukraine, who were from 8 to 17 years old during the war years. An oral history of recorded memories will be preserved for the future.

At Alphabet School from Paignton, children studied the main events of the Great Patriotic War, got acquainted with the Katyusha combat vehicle, almost a memory of the heroes with a minute of silence. The guys prepared stories about their great-grandfathers. Many students learned the verses that were included in the congratulation video.
