A conference for high school students studying Russian was held at the Oxford High School. The conference was attended by over 150 students from 15 leading British schools, including the James Allen Girls 'School (JAGS), Hampton School, St. Paul's Girls' School, Bristol Grammar School and others.

Various topics that help students better understand the history and culture of Russia and equip them for final exams in the Russian language were discussed in the course of the conference.

The conference was attended by the representative of Rossotrudnichestvo in the UK Anton Chesnokov, who delivered a motivational speech. He elaborated on the opportunities for foreigners studying the Russian language, spoke about the possibilities of studying in Russian universities and working in Russian and international organizations as a Russian-speaker, and discussed other ways of applying knowledge of the Russian language and culture. Oxford University professors Roy Allison, Julie Curtis, Andrew Kahn, and Christopher Mallaby also delivered presentations in the framework of the conference.
