Four young compatriots from the UK took part in a fascinating cultural and educational trip to Russia’s historic places. Participation in the program allowed the children to communicate in Russian with compatriots from other countries, as well as reconnect with Russia and its rich history.
The trip was attended by students of Russian-speaking schools and winners of competitions on the knowledge of Russian history and culture - Oscar Gala-Vlasenko, Jessica Charlton, Jonathan Charlton and Julia Ogarkova.
Educational tours to notable cultural and historical places were organized for young compatriots. In the course of the week, participants of the programme visited the Moscow Kremlin museums, the Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve, the Sergius Lavra, the Tretyakov Gallery, the Mosfilm film studio, strolled in the Alexander Garden, and saw modern architectural designs in Moscow City.
