Total dictation will take place on April 13. In the UK the dictation will be written at eight sites in six different cities. Durham, Canterbury, London, Manchester, Newcastle and Edinburgh will become literacy centers for Russian-speaking residents of the island. Also, a platform for those who learn Russian as a foreign language will be set up in Newcastle.
Total dictation is an action in support of literacy and the Russian language, which has been held in Russia since 2004, and in the UK since 2012.
In London, the nationwide literacy test will be held at two sites:
• King’s College London, Edmond J. Safra Lecture Theater, Strand, WC2R 2LS
• Rossotrudnichestvo, 37 Kensington High St, Kensington, W8 5ED
