The representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in London launched the international project "Pushkin - to the world", initiated by the poet, playwright, composer and lawyer Julian Henry Lowenfeld.
One of the best translators of Pushkin, Julian Henry Lowenfeld presented his book My Talisman (selected lyrics and biography of Alexander Pushkin translated into English), at the event. In 2010 the book earned him the prestigious Russian art and literature prize ‘Petropol’. At the event Julian talked about his work on the book and read several excerpts from the publication. The readings were accompanied by classical music and American folk.
The project "Pushkin - to the world" includes publication of poetic translations of the author’s immortal works, literary and video projects, concerts, theatrical productions, films, as well as installation of Pushkin’s monument in the centre of London.
