Culture of Russian business was discussed in London

Russo-British Chamber of Commerce (RBCC) organized a meeting for businessmen planning to conduct business in Russia or with Russian partners at the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in London.

Managing Director of Albion Overseas, David Cant, gave a brief overview of Russian history and its relationship with Britain, information about the peculiarities of the Russian mentality, social etiquette, gave general recommendations on building business relations with Russian companies. Most of the advice was given on the basis his personal experience - David Cant worked in Russia since the late 1980s, one of his company's branches is located in Moscow. David also served as the executive director of the RBCC. He is well acquainted with Russian literature, culture, history and geography, and speaks fluent Russian.

Since its establishment in 1916, the Russo-British Chamber of Commerce has promoted the development of trade and cooperation between Russia and the United Kingdom, helping companies in both countries to find trading partners. The Chamber has offices in London and Moscow and provides operational advice, research and assistance in the first steps in the new market (in Russia and in the UK). The RBCC membership base consists of approximately 300 organizations representing both Russian, British and international companies interested in developing ties in the markets of Russia or the UK.
