Belarusian Art Days in London were launched at the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo. The events are dedicated to the Day of Unity between the Peoples of Belarus and Russia. Representative of Rossotrudnichestvo in the UK Anton Chesnokov, Counselor-Envoy of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus Oleg Yermolovich and representatives of the Embassy of Russia took part in the opening ceremony.
The ceremony included a performance by Belarusian pianist Olga Stezhko and a demonstration of unique outfits with national motifs by Belarusian designer Anastasia Falkovich. Guests and residents of London had a chance to see the exhibition of paintings by Belarusian artists collective "step BY step", which is held in London for the second time. Most of the works presented at the exhibition are abstracted from reality. The focus of the artist's attention is the world of feelings and personal experiences.
The programme of the Belarusian art days also includes a photo exhibition "75", dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, presentation of Anastasia Falkovich’s collection and "Art Thread" exhibition by Alla Gubarevich.
The Belarusian Art in UK events were organized by the BelBrand Association and the ArtHaos Gallery Salon with support of the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the UK, the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Eurasian Creative Guild (London) and the Belarusian Republican Youth Union.
