The Tchaikovsky Russian musical school based at the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in London held a concert of classical music in the framework of the educational programme "Baby Classic". The concert programme included sonatas by Schubert and Beethoven for violin and piano. The compositions were performed by laureates of many international contests Julia Chaplin (piano) and Elizaveta Tyun (violin).
Elizaveta Tyun studied at the secondary special music school of the St. Petersburg State Conservatory, in Chetham’s School of Music (Manchester) and the Royal College of Music (London). She regularly performs at different venues both in Russia and in other European countries. She performed in the Buckingham Palace, Cadogan Hall and other prestigious music halls across London. At the moment, Elizaveta is the first violin at the Moonlight symphony orchestra.
Julia Chaplina has won seven First Prizes at international piano competitions in Ukraine, Poland, France, Andorra, Russia and England. After the victory at the Fifth International Youth Competition named after P. I. Tchaikovsky, Julia leads an active concert life.
"Baby Classics" concerts are held once a month and include a wide range of performances with the participation of such instruments as guitar, cello, oboe, flute, violin, piano, drums. The pieces are performed by London’s best musicians.
