In the framework of the National Unity Day celebrations, the Chamber of Russian Communities of Great Britain organized an international round table "Unity 2017" that discussed topical issues faced by the Russian-speaking community.The event was held with support of the Government Commission on the Affairs of Compatriots Living Abroad, Rossotrudnichestvo and the Youth Initiative Group.
The live broadcast of the round table was put on the page of the House of Russian Communities of Great Britain on Facebook and the website of Rossotrudnichestvo in the UK.
Representatives of the Regional European Coordination Council Oksana Guliy, representative of the charity organization "Rusfond UK" Irina Varivoda, representative of the public committee "Russian Heritage in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland" Yulia Plyukshta, representatives of youth organizations Ivan Botucharov, Roman Zamorin, Andrey Shikhman and Elizabeth Dores addressed the audience with their presentations.
A videoconference was also organized in the framework of the round table, which was attended by representatives of youth organizations from Russia, the United States, Italy, Greece, Moldova and Scotland.
