The personal project "My Reflection" was conceived as an experiment of synthesis of Fine Art and Music. It includes a solo exhibition of modern Belarusian graphics by Anna Kolos and a piano recital by Olga Stezhko and Vladislav Khandogiy.
The main concept of this exhibition is to express to viewers the emotional states of the artist's soul, which vividly echo the musical works of Debussy, Poulenc, Scriabin, Rachmaninoff and others. The significant graphic series gives the key to understanding these composers, who are difficult for perception, whose notes are distinctly read in each artwork; thus, visual art and music enter into a synthesis, manipulating with unique variations of forms and images.
The exposition includes pictures of the last 10 years of Anna's work, investigated in various graphic techniques, such as: etching, monotyping, lithography, linocut, woodcut, collages and mixed technique. This is not only monochrome abstract works, but also coloured concrete-realistic compositions. The artist posed the task of her exposure - to reflect the full spectrum of the possibilities of the classical and experimental graphic, which she brilliantly succeeded in.
Anna is a professional modern artist living in the UK, originally from Belarus, who is a bright presenter of contemporary European Artistic School of Graphic and Design.
